ATTOM Ltd is a business which exists solely to test and certify workplace appliances. Many business owners are unaware that there is a legal requirement to ensure that business appliances used by both employees and customers are safe and comply with The Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 as well as AS/NZS3760:2003 the Australian/NZ Safety Authority.
Every day, here in New Zealand, electrical faults are causing fires that injure employees or customers, damage business premises and diminish hard-won profits. Insurances are compromised and at worst, lives are lost and businesses destroyed.
PREVENTION IS EASY
ATTOM carries out the required tests at your workplace, using approved test equipment. Disruption is minimal.
We tag each appliance with the date it was tested and to show its compliance. ATTOM keeps a record of the testing results for the required seven years and will automatically notify you when re-testing is next due.
We also supply you with a record of your appliance safety results to hold on file.
TIME/COST IS MINIMAL
Standard cost $5.00 each + GST, negotiable depending on quantity and test interval.
